Jackson Tehmeh

Jackson is the father of 3 children who attend the Bridge Liberia supported InTouch Public School. They live in the Philip Farm Community in Careysburg, outside of Monrovia.

Jackson engages in farming to support his family, and is also a security guard at the InTouch Public School. He describes his community as “a community with the vision of Agriculture”.

He is very involved in his children’s education, and they are also interested in Agriculture, he said.

Jackson is happy for the support Bridge Liberia is rendering to the school his children attend, commenting that “here the fees are reasonable and the education they are getting is really good”. “Teacher are always in class and prepare to deliver lessons, and the children stay at school until 3:30. I welcome the change”, he added.

Jackson believes parents should make it their responsibility to make sure their children go to school because “education is the key to success”.
