As the Community Chairlady, she understands the importance of education and leadership.
Her daughter is 14 years old and currently in the 5th grade, her first year in a school supported by Bridge Liberia.
Esther is a business woman who sells “dry goods” and also does farming. She grows crops like cassava, sugar cane, fever leaf, etc. “The Phillip Farm Community is a quiet place, with community members passionate about farming. My community is known for the tasty fruits we grow to send to Monrovia for sale.
With regards to Bridge Liberia, she says, “the teachers are good when it comes to teaching, they are regular and pay attention to the children, they are really patient with them.”
I’m happy for my daughter to be back in school because it keeps her busy. “After school, she does her chores, play with her friends and take some time to study her lessons.
